Go to the Library with Me!

I don't know what this post is*, but life is really INSANE rn, so hahaha, this is what y'all get.

*it's 100% lazy

You may thank my baby brother for these awful blurry pictures... *sighs*

Oh, look, it's one of my favorite places in the world!

New books, but I've read half of them already. XD

So, ummm, how many The Fault in Our Stars  does one library need?

Aww, look it's my first name, they shouldn't have. XD

I've been meaning to read this, but it's NEVER at my library, and I'm too lazy to put it on hold. FINALLY IT IS, THOUGH!

      This...looks...disturbing...

         Ohh, boy...

Look! They wrote a story about me cooking!!! XD
(I'm joking, y'all, please don't leave me pity comments, ew).

.
.
.
I'M GETTING THIS.

They say you can't judge a book by it's cover, but when you hate books about summer romances... NEWSFLASH: YOU CAN.

Do I know any McGowan boys?! Hmm... hmmm.... oh, yeah, I don't. I guess I won't be needing this book then! *places it back on the shelf*

Huh, they based a book off of Guardians of the Galaxy (which I never have watched, nor do I plan on watching, FIGHT ME). That's weird...

          This looks pretty cool...

        HOOKED. I'M GETTING THIS!!!!!!!
it wasn't that good... read my review here. :/

Heading downstairs, where the... *shudders* grownups are. XD

Coast looks fairly clear.... (there was a lady on the side staring at me judgmentally for having my phone out in the library, but look at how many cares I give! Oh, wait, there's none to be seen.... because I DON'T CARE.) XD

Can we all just admit that Terri Blackstock is a queen?!
(she also accepted my friend request on goodreads... *screams*).

There's two of my favorite words in the world, besides "here's food", "more coffee", and "no school".

*sighs* Me likey.

       Checking out!

And leaving.... :'( *sad violin music*

Sooo, how do you feel when you go to your library?
What are some of your two favorite words in the world?
Oh, and if you haven't entered my giveaway for Heartless, you can do so here.

Happy Writing,

  1. Hee hee, I love it! Your commentary is similar to mine, actually. XD Your library looks amazing. You should have seen how many copies we had of the first Hunger Games book...I think when we finally got rid of most of them, the ones we kept were copies 21 and 30. O_O

    2. Thanks! This was thrown together. XD

That's weird, we only had two!

YES, IT'S MY SECOND TIME TO READ THEM. XD

  2. I don't feel happy, that's for sure. My library stinks now. (Not literally.) They don't have a Christian Fiction section, either. They lost space for shelving to add quiet rooms, study rooms, and other rooms that practically no one ever uses. And all the YA is by the Hillary and Obama books. (Odd, isn't it?)

Your library looks awesome. It looks fun and cozy, unlike mine which is all modern and self-checkouts and grumpy librarians.

I NEED TO READ IF I RUN!!!

Great post, though! I liked it. :)

    1. Aw, that's too bad. We have a few political books, but very few, because our library is conservative.
      But that is odd. :/

Thanks! It is, I love it. <3

      YES, YOU DO!!!!!!!!!

    2. Mine probably isn't conservative. They have political books from both sides, but it still is pretty annoying to have it right by the YA books.

    3. We have a few political and LGBTQ+ books in the YA section, but meh, whatever. I believe in the freedom of reading. :)

    4. Oh, I do to. My library just believes everyone wants to read the same. There's no variety, unfortunately.

  3. This was awesome! Your commentary was great!

I feel rather depressed when I go into my library. There's nothing there at all (though I did finally put Cinder on hold, so we'll see if I like that). My home library is far superior. The only thing good they bother to do is have their annual used book sale, which is rather fantastic. Though I usually walk away wondering why in the world they couldn't put these amazing books into circulation. But whatever. More for me!

      Oh, that's so sad.

We have a book sale like that too!

  4. Ha!! This was wonderful!

I haven't been to my library in forever. Though I do run past it at least once a week on my normal running route! (Does that count?) It was nice when I was younger (great kids section), but their YA isn't as nice...mostly stuff I wouldn't read. But I did look up the local history section once, which was really cool to see the old pictures and stuff.

There's one up the road from where I work, but I still haven't been inside. It's really tiny, though...

Nope! But at least you run!!! XD
      That's a bummer. :/

Tiny libraries are so weird, at least the ones I've been in are.

  6. I still haven't been to my home library since I've been home - been too busy doing OTHER stuff. LOL.

I've been meaning to for a while (tried to go around New Years with my brother but they were closed for an entire week. Bummer).

I really really loved this post, Gray!!

  11. Thanks for giving us a tour of your library (and the commentary was great)!
I just came back from a trip to my own local library. It's a nice library, but I'll always love the little old one best. I thought it was the prettiest place, with a few scenic boulders and birch trees by the door.

  12. Yes! Terri Blackstock is a queen! I plan to read Shadow in Serenity in the summer (I hear it's really good). Life is so crazy. *exasperation* My library is awesome. They have a lot to choose from; they have Heartless and Cinder so....I guess they're pretty stocked with recent reads?? xD Plus, the librarian(s) are friendly. *This is a MUST when it comes to libraries. Who likes a crabby librarian??*
