Lil Ole Me

HI. My name is Gray Marie Cox. Here are a few random things about me:

  • I'm homeschooled

  • I'm a Christian

  • My house is Ravenclaw

  • My personality is a INFJ (if you don't know what that is, basically I'm an introverted extrovert)

  • I have a bunch of gross guy friends that I hang with a lot

  • I have written and self-published two books so far

  • I LOVE chickens, cows, horses, and other farm livestock

  • I want around eight kids when I get married

  • I'm really clumsy so my life consists of me laughing at myself with others so I don't DIE from embarrassment

  • The song Just a Friend by Jamie Grace is basically my life

  • Coffee is bae

  • I love Larkrise to Candleford

  • Hardly anyone ever guesses my right age

  • Hold My Heart by Lindsey Stirling is my theme song

And thanks again for calling me gorgeous, although I try to make looks not important to me, I cannot help but feel uplifted when someone complements me! ;)

  2. Hey there, Gray! So nice to finally find your blog! I've been looking for it, but.... At least I finally know where you write from.
    Ravenclaw for the win! Yaaasssss!
I totally get where you're coming from about boys BTW... Why do they have to be so disgusting?

    1. Lol. That's good question about boys, but I have NO idea why! And Ravenclaw is awesome!!

  3. Hmmm...let me think about this one. Are you....15? Wait...16? No...no...15? One of the two? (That's probably cheating...eh.)
You're SO pretty. I'm SO jealous. It's so hard for me to actually like one of my books so much that I actually finish one. Blimey cow is like...amazing. :D

    1. You were close! I'm fourteen, but I turn fifteen soon.
It's hard for me to like my books, too! So in order to keep me in check I read the first chapter to my siblings and they force me to finish!!!
      Blimey Cow is awesome!!!

    2. Aww! UGH! Well, at least I was almost there. lol
I know, whenever my sister reads my WIPs, she always begs me to write more.
It's like I get burned out on my own writing. I read it over, and over, and over again. I guess that makes you find more mistakes, though.

    3. You were almost there! I'm surprised you went over my age not under!!
I NEVER read my first drafts when I'm writing them anymore, because the last time I did I got discouraged and deleted it completely before I came to my senses. Lol.

    4. Oh, well. It least I wasn't too far out...humph. Well I have the same problem. Everybody thinks I'm older than I really am. When I was 10, my OWN UNCLE thought I was 14. Of course, it is amusing to see people's reactions. Lol
Oh my, lol. I just get burned out from my own writing, so reading it over and over again is just...eh.
I have this thing where I like my first draft in my writing to be perfect, so....yeah. I keep going back and changing things, taking things out, changing 'em. You get the picture.

  11. Hi Gray! I found your blog through another blog that I also found through another blog...anyway. I'm also 14! Although most people think I'm about 11 or 12, so I get what you're saying about people not knowing your real age :). (I'm sort of home schooled. It's online, but I am at home. I also live on a farm!)

    1. Hello, Maggie! I'm glad you found my blog. And the real age thing is always so funny, I'm short and I have a baby face so it honestly makes sense to me!
Homeschooling online? That's cool! I've heard of it but I've never tried it myself.
And farms are so much fun, they're work, but they're fun.

    2. I have friends that are 10 and 11 and are already taller than me. It's kinda sad, but also funny at the same time :)
I go to a national school called Connections Academy, but there are sections for individual states, so it's Indiana Connections Academy because I live in Indiana.
A farm is a lot of work, but the fresh vegetables and baby animals are worth it :)

    3. I can relate! Most eleven year olds are taller than me, lol.
