6/7/19

June is going to be awesome! (so I'm sorry if I'm a bit absent on here this month)

I'm so excited for this month! It's going to be so fun and exhausting. Let me know what your plans are for June below. <3

This week: I've been helping out with cooking for a men's conference, going to gospel meetings, fellowshipping afterward, dinner at a friend's house with a ton of other amazing people on Friday (today!), and then we continue on with the men's conference and gospel meeting until Sunday.

Also, I took the TSI the other day and passed!! I am eligible for dual credit classes. 😊

In between: Working on getting better at driving, especially on my own.

Near the end of the month: Mission trip to Panama to help host a VBS at a congregation there and to go door to door for bible studies. I'll be there for little over a week.

THAT BEING SAID, if you notice an absence of me this month, no, I am not dead, I am either:

a). with my brothers and sisters in Christ. (I'm really looking forward to being around mostly Christians this month, usually it's the opposite, so it's nice to actually feel edified and to be with people with the same end goal.)

b). In Panama!! (It feels crazy to write that, I've only been out of the country five times and that was to Mexico when I was younger).

Me in Mexico trying to help out with building a house to show how longggg ago this was.

  6. You look so cute driving!! ;) I can't wait to drive too! It must be amazing (and nerve racking.)

This month I'm mostly at home doing Algebra, reading History, and training for my 20K that's in one month. I'm also really enjoying reading through the whole new Testament this summer.

Have fun on your mission trip!

    1. Thank you! <3 It is a bit nerve racking, but I'm glad I have the ability to be a bit more independent when I need to be.

Best of luck on your schooling and 20K (super impressive), and I hope you are edified by your study and learn more about the Bible!

      Thank you. <3

  9. I'm actually taking a college CLEP exam so that I can get credit for this past school year and also test out of a college class. I'm so excited to see what I can do! I'm so glad you passed your TSI, isn't it exciting?
Enjoy your summertime and sunshine! I'm so glad that you get to spend your summer with your Christian family. :) Isn't it so edifying? I'm finally feeling a little better, so I've been going to my youth group so much more this past month. I feel so much better after being able to get to know my my fellow youth group buddies. And I have two camps ahead of me and possibly a vacation, so I'm pumped to see what the summer brings! <3 (Hopefully it's full of sunshine and freckles! lol)

    2. Isn't it?! Aww, thanks so much, Gray! I love getting to test my personal limits to see if I can do the things I felt like I couldn't before. It's so motivating! Were you stressing up until the end of the test? I tend to do that to myself. xP
Ohh, if it's anything like my church camp, it'll be such a fun experience for you! It's also great bonding time with your youth group. :) And good luck for your first time, I'm sure you'll love it! ;)
      You too, friend! <3

    3. I was so stressed throughout the test, I thought I was going to fail, and the girl taking it in the cubical beside me was in tears so that didn't help. But I passed, and I think the girl did as well, even though I finished before her.

I hope it is! I've heard the people are fantastic. :D
      Have fun! <3

    4. Oh, man, I think I have test anxiety, but I've learned to use it as motivation instead of a blockade over the years. Aww, that poor girl! I've been in her shoes before, but the fact that she probably passed is inspiring to me. ;) Self-doubt can be so deceiving!

      That's awesome that you're going! ;) It'll be a great experience. <3

    1. Thanks! Mexico was very interesting from what I remember, I hope to go back someday. The part we had friends in got really dangerous to drive into, so we eventually stopped going. :/
Have fun riding and getting ready for 4H!
