Hope's Highest Mountain by Misty M. Beller // Review

Summary (from goodreads):

On her way to deliver vaccines to a mining town in the Montana Territory, Ingrid Chastain never anticipated a terrible accident would leave her alone and badly injured in the wilderness. When rescue comes in the form of a mysterious mountain man, she's hesitant to trust him, but the journey ahead will change their lives more than they could have known.

Just look at that cover--gorgeous. Big props to the designer.

This book was a bit slower, but it had enough action to keep my attention. I loved the prose, Misty's writing voice is so enjoyable and sweet.

I didn't really connect to any of the two main characters, but I did find myself liking and rooting for them all the same.

Also, Ingrid is my aunt's name... it was hard to not picture her, haha.

I loved how the physical journey represented their emotional healing.

My rating: four stars

I'd recommend this to anyone who enjoys historical fiction, man vs. nature, and a bit of romance.

  3. This sounds like an amazing book! I was wondering if you could do a book review of Good Omens. (It is a comedy, so you might enjoy it)
